BioEntopic Vitamin Crèmes

Vitamin B-12 Creme
High Potency Natural 2 ounces-60ml
Our Price $14.99 2 for $25

600 mcg methylcobalamin in a Liposome Carrier System is greater then 5000 mcg B12 taken orally.

Vitamin B12 is a water soluble micronutrient. Studies show vitamin B12 is the most deficient vitamin in the human body and lack of methylcobalamin causes degeneration of the brain and spinal cord. Meat is the primary source of Vitamin B12 therefore; strict vegetarians are more prone to B12 deficiency. Also, poor diet, age and many drugs are prime culprits behind B12 deficiency. The medical community does not understand B12 deficiencies and are reluctant to prescribe B12.

Research shows the active form of B12 methylcobalamin has the unique ability to regenerate nerves without adverse side effects because B12 facilitates methylation which is the process that creates and maintains nerves and brain chemicals. The methylation process also converts homocysteine to methionine which contributes to healthy cardiovascular functions. Many people are unable to utilize the cyancobalamin form of B12 because cyancobalamin needs to be converted into methylcobalamin for the methylation process to take place

Studies show oral supplements including sublingual* are extremely inefficient. It is estimated that oral or sublingual absorption of vitamin B12 is less then one percent.

While B12 injections have the highest estimated absorption rate at ninety-nine percent, B12 injections are expensive and available by prescription only.

BioEntopic™ utilizes a liposome delivery system which provides a 90 percent absorption rate through the skin. Liposomes are used as delivery systems for pharmaceutical products like the nicotine patch. Liposomes are hollow tubes of phospholipids that are over 200 times smaller than human skin cells. The desired ingredients such as vitamin B12 are encapsulated in the liposome’s creating a superior delivery with a consistent absorption rate. Listed below are some of the benefits of B12 methylcobalamin supplementation:

• Essential for red blood cells and is necessary for the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats.
• Helps to lower homocysteine, studies show homocysteine as high risk factor for heart disease, stroke, arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes.
• Prevents nerve damage by contributing to the formation of the myelin sheath.
• Maintains fertility.
• Restores balance and stamina, studies also show it may help those who suffer from sleep disorders and depression. Fatigue is often the sign of B12 deficiency

BioEntopic™ Vitamin B12 crème delivers 600 mcg per ¼ tsp. application.

SUGGESTED USE: Each 1/4 teaspoon creme provides 600 mcg of B-12. Apply to clean dry skin. The creme has pink hue and is non-staining. The color may vary from batch to batch and does not affect the potency or quality of the product.

Vitamin D was discovered by Elmer McCollum in 1921. Adolf Windaus later isolated three types of vitamin D. Two of them, vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and D3 (cholecalciferol) are being used for nutritional supplementation. Vitamin D3 is produced naturally in the skin from exposure to sunlight and then is converted into the hormone 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3. Without adequate levels of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 in the blood, the human body cannot absorb calcium and in turn cannot build strong bones.

A vitamin D deficiency not only causes the childhood bone disease Rickets, it’s also responsible for the adult bone diseases known as Osteomalacia and Osteoporosis. Osteomalacia is often called adult rickets creating a softening of the bone characterized by joint pain, muscle weakness. Osteoporosis is the loss of bone density characterized by joint pain, muscle weakness and fragile bones.

In 1930 the United States began fortifying milk with vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) at a rate of 400 IU (International Units) per quart, all but wiping out the epidemic of Rickets. Why wasn’t Osteoporosis eradicated? The United States is not only the largest consumer of dairy products in the world but is also the leading nation with the most cases of Osteoporosis. The test of time has shown that the type of vitamin D and the amount is far to low for avoiding adult bone diseases.

There is more to vitamin D deficiency then just strong bones. A mountain of studies have reveled that vitamin D deficiency is also linked to cancers of the breast, prostate and colon, chronic pain, influenza, type 1 diabetes, psoriasis, high blood pressure, obesity, depression, periodontal disease, cardiovascular heart disease and premenstrual syndrome. Also, the autoimmune diseases multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, Grave’s disease and lupus.

Vitamin D3 is produced naturally by the skin only when sunlight provides UVB rays strong enough to penetrate the epidermal layers of the skin. What determines the strength of UVB rays is latitude and altitude. The greater part of the United States is situated between 30° and 45° latitude. At these latitudes over six months out of the year UVB rays are too weak to stimulate vitamin D production. Even during the summer months UVB rays strong enough to produce adequate amounts of vitamin D3 are mostly available between 10 am and 2 pm.

Also, age is a factor to consider. By the time a person is 70 years old they only produce about 25% of the vitamin D3 that a 25 year old person does. Then there is melanin, melanin is what makes the skin tan when exposed to sunlight and is the body’s natural sun filter, blocking out UVB rays. A person’s race is a big factor; darker skin people block out more UVB rays.

The general believe that exposing one third of the body to sunlight about 30 minutes a day, three times a week to produce adequate amounts of vitamin D3 by the skin is highly inaccurate. It is definitely a fact that location, time of year, time of day, the amount of skin exposed and the length of exposure are critical in order to produce enough vitamin D3 via the skin. For the average person, geographic location, occupation, age and race will limit the ability to obtain enough UVB rays to produce adequate levels of vitamin D3. Both exposure to sunlight and supplementation is needed to insure enough vitamin D3 to maintain good health.

Vitamin D toxicity has been poorly established and this ignorance has produced an epidemic of vitamin D deficiency. Just as one needs to understand the toxicity levels for vitamin A and iron, the levels for vitamin D need to be thoroughly understood.

A committee named the Food and Nutrition Board was formed to recommend nutritional standards for the military and civilians in the United States. In 1941 the RDA (Recommended Dietary Allowance) was established. The RDA for vitamin D was set at 200 IU based on the amount to eliminate Rickets in children. At the same time the committee also established the UL (Tolerable upper intake levels). The UL for vitamin D was set at 2000 IU.

Vitamin D3 is the best choice for supplementation because it is three times more effective then D2. Natural Vitamin D3 is bio-identical to the vitamin D3 that is produced in the skin and Vitamin D3 Crème uses the same natural route through the skin. Oral vitamin D3 requires larger quantities because the majority of it is destroyed in the digestive system. The larger quantities puts stress on the liver and has caused nausea in some people. 500 IU in the Vitamin D3 Crème is equivalent to 2000 IU oral.
