Tourmaline is a very popular gemstone and collectors mineral. It exists in all colors, and the multicolored stones are unsurpassed in splendor. Tourmaline is both pyroelectric and piezoelectric. If a specimen is put under a pressure or temperature change, it will generate an electrical charge.

Tourmaline comes from the Sinhalese word "Turamali" which was given to mixtures of unidentified gem gravels in Ceylon, now Sri Lanka. Tourmaline exerts a cleansing and liberating energy upon our entire nervous system with a clearing and stabilizing effect. Tourmaline is best known as one of the only minerals to emit far infrared heat and negative ions.

30% Tourmaline Patches

The 50% Gold Patch TRMX-2 is being referred to as a premium patch by other sellers.  While that is true in terms of tourmaline content, it does not necessarily mean that the 50% tourmaline patch is better.  30% is a high concentration of tourmaline and allows for more vinegar to be combined to with the tourmaline to enhance the benefits of a patch that still offers a large amount of tourmaline at 30%.   The vinegars in our patches provide excellent detox benefits and we don't jump to the conclusion that "premium" means better or make that decision for you.  If 50% automatically meant better then there would be no point in offering blue patches as they're primarily vinegar.  Thus, it's contradictory to imply that 50% means premium or better.  We are all individuals and that is the reason for so many types of patches.  Don't be fooled by someone with no natural health qualifications sayings that 50% is automatically better.  Personally as an ND, I prefer the 30% over the 50% patch because of the increased vinegar content.  However, we offer both types for you to choose and don't make the assumption/decision for you.   It's true that not all patches are equal or the same, but "premium" does not always mean better.
